Syria News is a private English-language online newspaper that publishes original news reports, interviews, and newsworthy photographs and videos from inside Syria. We have no link to any political party or interest group.

Our reporters identify key security developments and track Syria’s shifting politics to explain events as they develop. Throughout the editorial process, we emphasize the principles of professional journalism, from identifying sources and checking facts to providing balanced, well-rounded coverage of contentious issues.

Our commitment is to use the highest journalistic standards for Syrians to tell their own story, to set the news agenda and inculcate tenets of independent, critical thinking with integrity in our reporters.
